VH1 Divas: An Honors Concert For The VH1 Save The Music Foundation aired live from the MGM Grand Las Vegas on April 18, 2004. The show marks the first appearance of close friends and R&B and soul legends Patti LaBelle and Gladys Knight after they had turned down previous offers to appear.

The queen of soul, Aretha Franklin, and four of the biggest female hitmakers in contemporary pop, Mariah Carey, Celine Dion, Gloria Estefan, and Shania Twain, join forces for this once-in-a-lifetime concert event where they sing their hits and team up for a variety of ensemble performances. Kelly Clarkson twisted her ankle on the way into the concert, though she still performed as planned.

VH1’s beloved Divas franchise made its return after a four-year hiatus with a holiday spin. The Unsilent Night special, airing on December 5, 2016, brought powerhouse vocalists like Chaka Khan, Mariah Carey, Patti LaBelle, Vanessa Williams and Teyana Taylor together at Brooklyn’s Kings Theatre for an hour-long extravaganza filled with Christmas tunes and sizzling performances despite the frosty weather.

Storytellers is a television music series produced by the VH1 network. In each episode artists perform in front of a (mostly small and intimate) live audience, and tell stories about their music, writing experiences and memories, somewhat similar to MTV Unplugged. The VH1 Rock Honors were an annual ceremony paying homage to bands who influenced the sound of rock music. The events began in 2006, and the final event took place in 2008. The general format of each show is for modern bands to "pay tribute" to classic greats of the rock/metal world, after which time the artist being paid tribute to plays multiple songs. The 2006 and 2007 shows featured four inductees each, whereas the 2008 show featured one, albeit with multiple bands paying tribute. The shows were directed by David Mallet and produced by Paul Flattery. Currently, VH1 has no plans for a CD or DVD release of any show.
